How detailed are the large prints?
We only use the original high-resolution image files, which are optimised for high DPI printing. There are some variations in resolution between works depending on the method of the original capture (i.e full frame, or APS-C), but the sizes fall well within the bounds of providing excellent detail and clarity when blown up to a large scale.
What is the difference between the types of prints on offer?
We offer two types of un-framed paper prints (with the option to purchase a customised frame). Lustre prints are our base option, using industry standard professional grade Kodak photo paper. Our second type are Giclée Paper prints. These are created to a museum quality standard using special dyes and printing methods for a stunning and vibrant result. Our third type of print is our most special. Ready to hang Metalprints. These are created using a sheet of aluminum to produce a highly detailed and elegant method of unrivaled presentation.
How are prints packaged and shipped?
16x24, 24x36, 12x36 and 30x40 paper prints are shipped carefully flat-packed.
Larger 30x60, 40x60 and 30x90 paper prints are shipped in a tube.
